Crafting Remarkable Brands & People

Mark’s entire 18+-year career has been spent in strategy, research and training roles within some of the world’s largest and most dynamic advertising and media agencies, an active choice made during high school, which saw him be one of the first to complete a Postgraduate Degree in Advertising in the UK.

Based in Singapore since 2004, Mark is a very well-travelled brand marketing and communications problem solver focused on creating innovative pragmatic solutions in a short space of time. Mark is also a well-versed conference speaker, group facilitator and mentor,  and has trained over 3000 people in marketing, media, digital, communications and advertising.

Mark got his break in the industry as a graduate trainee at Ogilvy and Mather advertising in the UK, and later worked as communications planner/strategist at Lintas, DDB, and Initiative Media on a number of blue chip brands and businesses, including Ford, Unilever, Amex, the UK government, Bestfoods, Boots the Chemists, Marks & Spencer, Diageo, Philip Morris and Kraft Foods. Between 2007 and 2012, Mark was the global strategy lead for Samsung Electronics and Samsung Mobile's global media business at Publicis Groupe/Starcom Mediavest Group, dividing his time between New York and Singapore (and the rest of the world!).

Innovation is a key topic area for Mark, with critical thinking and creative problem solving a trait he believes can be nurtured in all.  As a ‘Strategic and Facilitating All-rounder’, Mark also facilitates company meetings, corporate strategy sessions and board meetings for businesses large and small.

In his youth, Mark was an actor and singer, and although he chose not to pursue this career choice after college, Mark has retained his ability to entertain and engage in any type of situation.
